About Burquitlam.Agency

Burquitlam.Agency is a marketing and business consulting service for trades and local businesses in the Burquitlam–Lougheed corridor, part of the Vancouver-based Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA.

Burquitlam.Agency exists because the corridor where Burnaby meets Coquitlam is changing faster than most marketing advice can keep up with. Towers are going up near two SkyTrain stations, a mall site is becoming a neighbourhood, and the businesses that serve the area need marketing that understands both cities and the timing of what's being built. That's what we do.

What we are, and what we are not

We are a digital marketing and business consulting service for trades, home-service and local businesses in the Burquitlam–Lougheed corridor. We plan and run local SEO, paid search, websites, move-in campaigns and strata vendor programmes, and we advise owners on pricing, capacity and growth.

We are not a contractor. We don't install, repair, clean, renovate or service anything for anyone. We don't run a lead-selling marketplace either, so the enquiries we help you generate are yours alone and never resold to the company down the road.

Part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group

Burquitlam.Agency is one of the brands in the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, a Canadian group headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, serving clients across the country.

  • Sedighi.ca is Ali Sedighi's growth, marketing and technology consulting company. Trades.Agency, the family this site belongs to, is one of its brands, alongside HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, BusinessConsulting.ca and Conv.ca.
  • SAZ.ca (Strategy & Acceleration Zone) is the group's Canadian strategy firm, working on AI and revenue acceleration; Ali founded it and is its Managing Partner.

This site sits within the Trades.Agency family, which handles marketing for trades and home-service businesses. Pricing follows Trades.Agency's published plans, as set out on our pricing page.

Ali Sedighi, MBA

Ali Sedighi leads Burquitlam.Agency's strategy. He holds an MBA in Technology Management and has more than 17 years of digital marketing experience, beginning in 2007, when he founded ONE.ir, a full-service digital marketing agency. He now lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia.

He also started Conv.ca, which specialises in conversion-rate optimisation, and MyAutomation.ca. He has worked with clients in Canada, the USA and Dubai.

Much of his hands-on work has been in home services. He has built more than 150 live HVAC websites, including CombiBoiler.ca, GasBoilers.ca and CanroHeat.ca, several of them for BC companies. Those projects are where our published case studies come from, so we present them as results from our HVAC work. The results page explains what they show and what carries over to other trades.

How we work

Our approach comes down to four habits.

We start with your jobs, not our services. Before recommending anything, we ask for the locations of your recent jobs, your average ticket and how often you win a quote. In the corridor, sorting jobs by side of North Road and by building type usually tells us more than any keyword tool.

We put the money in writing. Every plan comes with the monthly fee, the expected ad spend and a cost-per-lead ceiling worked out from your margins. If the numbers don't work, we say so before you commit.

We use public plans, not guesswork. The Burquitlam-Lougheed Neighbourhood Plan and Burnaby's Lougheed Town Centre documents tell you where density is headed. We use them to time campaigns, and we link to them rather than inventing local facts.

We report what matters. Calls, texts, emails and booked jobs come first. Rankings and traffic are supporting numbers. Reports are short and written in plain language.

Why the corridor, specifically

A narrow focus lets us know things a generalist agency wouldn't bother learning: which side of the boundary a tower sits on, which station a new building is closest to, where the townhouse ring starts and how strata buying differs from homeowner buying. That knowledge changes the advice. A painter targeting brand-new suites near Burquitlam Station needs a different plan from one working on older houses near Austin Heights, even though they're a few minutes apart.

If your business covers more ground, our sister brands may suit you better, and we'll tell you honestly. To see how we'd approach your business, look at our services, read the areas page, or call, text or email. You'll talk to the person who will plan the work.

Frequently asked questions

Who owns Burquitlam.Agency?

It is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, a Canadian group with its head office in Vancouver, British Columbia. It operates under the Trades.Agency family of brands, and Ali Sedighi, MBA, leads the work.

Is there a storefront in the corridor I can visit?

No. We are a service business run from Vancouver and we don't list a local street address. Clients reach us by call, text or email, and the work happens in your listings, ads and website.

Who will actually work on my account?

Strategy is set and reviewed by Ali Sedighi. We don't hand clients to a rotating cast of junior account managers, and you can always ask to speak to him directly.

Do you work with HVAC companies in the corridor?

Heating and cooling companies are served by our sister brand HVAC.Agency. This site is for other trades and local businesses: plumbers, electricians, renovators, painters, cleaners, movers, shops and service firms.
